به گزارش خبرگزاری فرانسه از صنعاء، 'محسن بن جمیلا' یكی از مقامات یمن به خبرگزاری فرانسه گفت كه ارتش یمن با حمایت شبه نظامیان حامی دولت به خانه ای در شهر 'جعار' كه شبه نظامیان القاعده در آنجا مخفی شده بودند، حمله كردند كه در این حادثه دو شبه نظامی القاعده كشته و سه تن دیگر دستگیر شدند.

شهر جعار كه ارتش یمن در ماه ژوئن كنترل آن را از شبه نظامیان القاعده باز پس گرفته بود، محل حمله انتحاری روز شنبه بود كه طی آن 45 تن كشته شدند.

این منابع خاطر نشان كردند كه اعضای القاعده در حال سازماندهی دوباره طی دو روز گذشته در منطقه الحمه و المنسه در استان بیضاء در 170 كیلومتری جنوب شرق پایتخت یمن بوده اند. یك منبع دیگر اضافه كرد: چهار انفجار به دنبال حملات این هواپیماهای بدون سرنشین رخ داد. یكی از این هواپیماها خودروی یكی از اعضای القاعده را هدف قرار داد كه به آتش كشیده شد.
