وزیر نفت همچنین در مورد مزیت های فرآوری نفتی هم سخن گفت و خاطر نشان كرد كه ظرفیت فرآوری نفت كشور تا یك میلیون بشكه افزایش یافته است.

وی در مورد فاز‌های پارس جنوبی گفت: هم‌اكنون 19 فاز پارس‌جنوبی در دست احداث است كه اگر به ثمر برسد، ظرفیت تولید گاز كشور افزایش می یابد.

رستم قاسمی با یادآوری این كه هم اكنون بیش از 91 درصد شهرها و 57 درصد روستاهای كشور از نعمت گاز طبیعی بهره مندند، اعلام كرد كه تا پایان برنامه پنجم به بیش از 80 درصد روستاها و صد درصد شهرها گاز خواهیم رساند.

وزیر نفت در مورد وضعیت صنعت پتروشیمی كشور هم با یادآوری این كه بیشتر كالاهای مصرفی عمومی كشور حاصل صنعت پتروشیمی است، گفت كه هم اكنون ظرفیت نصب شده پتروشیمی كشور 54 میلیون تن است و پس از ساخت 70 واحد جدید پتروشیمی تا پایان برنامه پنجم، این ظرفیت به صد میلیون تن خواهد رسید.

سه شنبه گذشته یك گروه مسلح تروریستی در منطقه حلب سوریه، با هجوم به یك اتوبوس زایران لبنانی كه از زیارت امام رضا(ع) در ایران به صورت زمینی در حال بازگشت به لبنان بودند، 12 تن از این زایران را ربودند.گفته می شد كه این گروه مسلح وابسته به ارتش آزاد سوریه است.

'نجیب میقاتی' نخست وزیر لبنان به محض اطلاع از این حادثه اقدام به برقراری تماس هایی به منظور آزادسازی شهروندان لبنانی كرد.

'سید حسن نصرالله' دبیر كل حزب الله لبنان دقایقی پس از اعلام خبر این حادثه طی گفت وگویی تلفنی با شبكه خبری المنار خواستار حفظ آرامش از سوی مردم شد و تاكید كرد كه تلاش ها به منظور آزادی این افراد با جدیت پیگیری خواهد شد.
